My Memorable Moments of 2014

I have definitely been reminiscing over 2014. This past year has had its ups and downs. Although the downs I cannot wait to leave in 2014, the ups I want to remember always. I hit quite a few milestones this year starting with...

My acceptance into the Academy of Art University for Fashion Journalism (Finding out on our way to see the AAU NYFW Show)...

Followed by my first trip to NYC (NYFW, The Met)...

This was also my first time at a show for NY Fashion Week (Attended AAU Show)...

While on this trip I got engaged in Central Park (February 8, 2014)...

May 10, 2014 I graduated with a BA in Fashion Merchandising (University of Akron)...

I participated in Fashion Week Cleveland (designed/created the dress I wore to the shows)...

Following my first trip two NYC, 2014 brought along my second (Friend, Melissa in May) and third ( Sister, Tiffany, in October) trip to NYC...

This year has had its memories that is for sure but one down from this year that I will hold onto always is the loss of a great man, Bret Spitaleri.
He was my neighbor, my friend, my guidance, he was like a father figure to me and he was a great person, he will be loved and missed and never forgotten.

Life has a funny way of taking you on a roller coaster ride but it is up to you to see the good in everything and embrace what you are given and smile through the pain. I learned some hard lessons this year and 2015 is just waiting for me to start building a better future.
