Chanel: The Beginning Of A Legacy
Once asked the question, "If you could pick anyone, dead or alive, that you would want to meet in your lifetime, who would it be?", my answer, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. Even as a young girl in middle school, when it came to fashion she was the first designer I ever knew of.
Chanel had a very opinionated and "I will do as I please" attitude and that is just a few things that drives me to her. I live day-to-day by her famous quote, "A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous". You can ask anyone I know, I don't specifically come from a family of classy, fabulous, fashionable people, and yet here I am, standing out, and making my mark in the fashion industry. Fashion advice needed, they call me.
I am very proud of the fact that I chose the path of fashion for my life, my career, my soul even. Coco Chanel brings out the Opinionated Fashionista in me. It is because of her witty, trendy, stylish, can-do attitude that I became interested in fashion. I created a short documentary on the life of Chanel. This video is true to my heart and sums up the greatness Chanel brought along with along talents she fastens.
