Style Bloggers: My Top Picks

There are so many superb and remarkable fashion blogs out there. The top five blogs that I read on a day-to-day basis are:

·      Cupcakes and Cashmere: Founded by Emily Schuman in March, 2008, I read this blog daily for inspiration on my daily duties. Emily not only gives advice and facts on fashion but also has amazing and healthy recipes that are simple and budget friendly. Emily now has her own book out called "Cupcakes and Cashmere".

·      Paper Fashion: Katie Rodgers founded this blog in 2009. She is a phenomenal fashion illustrator. Katie keeps her readers in the loop by painting shadow dancers and croquis of red carpet events. She gives great advice on fashion drawing and actually inspired me to take Fashion Drawing here at AAU. I enjoy seeing her drawings daily and viewing her videos.

·      The Blonde Salad: Chiara Ferragni founded her blog in 2009. Recently she was on the cover of Lucky magazine as one of the top fashion bloggers. I enjoy keeping up with her blogs daily because she travels so much. She gives insight to things happening around the world. Using the hash tag #theblondesaladneverstops, Chiara travels all over the world experiencing new sides of fashion that I just cant get enough of. She also has her own collection, "Chiara Ferragni Collection."

·      Just Another Fashion Blog: Lisa Dengler founded her blog in 2011. She takes her viewers all over New York City on a daily basis. Staying in the loop of fashion she also blogs on the best eats in NYC and places to see. I enjoy her advice on the city so when I am in town I always have new things to see and try. She inspires her readers on what she is wearing and how she gets inspiration. She truly is an inspiration herself.

·      Who What Wear: The company is owned by Clique Media, which was founded by Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power. The blog is not only fashionable and factual but shopable. The blog explores many trends, celebrities and articles related to powerful blogs and media. I enjoy reading new blogs daily especially because they are linked with Lauren Conrad’s Paper Crown collections.

With these blogs being in the top five of what I am reading daily, I have to say that I am extremely addicted to The Blonde Salad and Paper Fashion. I literally cannot go one day without reading or snooping on their blogs. I am following each blog, plus many more, on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for quick access and updated information.  I have specifically bookmark The Blonde Salad, Chiara Ferragni is my favorite blogger right now.  Her blog, along with Cupcakes and Cashmere and Who What Wear are very informative and keep up with all things fashion. I enjoy Paper Fashion mainly for fun and it brings out my artistic side.
