Unless your living under a rock in the fashion industry, you have heard of this empowering book. Written by Sophia Amoruso, this book is all about how to be a #Girlboss and how Sophia built her empire. #Girlboss is one of my favorite books of all time and is a huge influence in my life. The best news? #Girlboss is in production for a Netflix series to be released in 2017. While your at it, check out her new book, Nasty Galaxy. ($9.52, Amazon)

Killing Monica

Candace Bushnell, author of Sex and the City, dropped this beauty just last year. Killing Monica is a book about fame, pop culture, fashion and getting out of the public eye. Candace Bushnell is my favorite author so it was only right I picked this book up, but I truly fell in love and read it over and over. And no, this book is NOT about killing Carrie. ($7.49, Amazon)

Where’s Karl? A Fashion-Forward Parody

This children’s book by Stacey Caldwell and Ajiri Aki caught my eye in the Columbus Museum of Art Gift shop! I couldn’t resist. This is the fashion world’s Where’ Waldo book and also features designers such as the Olsen twins and even Kim and Kanye. It’s a great book to  enjoy with the kiddos, or, like me, my yourself. ($13.50, Amazon)

Influence

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been my idols since birth. Influence offers interviews with designers such as Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano along with guiding us through the twins’ fashion influences. Not only is this a great read but makes for a beautiful coffee table book, too! ($24.99, Amazon)

I am obsessed with this book, I have read it three times now. This book offers essays about what it is like to be a young professional in the fashion industry. If you liked The Devil Wears Prada, you will LOVE this. I know I did. Author Amy Odell brings to life the intimidating yet fearless world of fashion for her readers. ($10.65, Amazon)
