Banana Pecan Chocolate Chip Muffins

I love banana bread, so any twist I can give it excites me! I love to bake, so after trying a bunch of recipes I came down to this one as my favorite! Try it yourself!
Banana Pecan Chocolate Chip Bread:
Ingredients:
3 Ripe, Mashed Medium-Size Bananas
1/3 C. Melted Butter
3/4 C. Sugar
Pinch of Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 Egg
1 1/2 C. Flour
1/2 C. Chocolate Chips
1/2 C. Chopped Pecans
1/2 tsp. of cinnamon (if desired)

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  • Grease a loaf pan or muffin pan (I used liners)
  • Mix bananas and butter together.
  • Add in sugar, vanilla and egg (beaten) and mix.
  • Add salt and baking soda and mix together.
  • Add in flour, mix enough to blend without over mixing, the clumps will work theirselves out.
  • Fold in pecans and chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 1 hour (for loaf of bread), Bake 30-40 minutes (for muffins)
  • They are done when you can poke with a toothpick or fork and nothing comes out (but melted chocolate)


Smearing on Nutella always works for me!
