Fall Baking: Mini Croissants

Hey, guys! If you follow me on Snap, you got to see this recipe done first hand. If not, here is the recipe for my Mini Apple Pie Croissants & Mini Nutella Croissants. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Ingredients: (Makes 4 Croissants For Each, Double Recipe For More)

  • 1 Package of Pillsbury (any brand) refrigerated Croissant Dough
  • 1 TBS of Cinnamon
  • 1/4 C. White Sugar (Brown sugar will work also)
  • 1 Red or Green Apple (cut into thin slices)
  • 1/4 C. Nutella
  • 2 Tbs Melted Butter

Utensils:

  • Brush To Spread Butter
  • Spoon or Cookie Scoop For Nutella
  • Cookie Sheet
  • Cutting Board For Assembling
Mini Apple Pie Croissants:
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. I follow the cooking times and heat on the packaging for the croissants and that was perfect.
  • Using half of the tube, roll out the triangle pieces and flatten them.
  • Brush on butter.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar (you can mix the two together if you'd like).
  • Add the apple slices to the thick part of the dough.
  • Roll like a croissant (you can tuck the ends in if you would like to).
  • Place on cookie sheet.
  • Brush on more butter and sprinkle with more Cinn-Sugar Mixture.
  • Bake for 12 minutes.

Mini Nutella Croissants:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. I follow the cooking times and heat on the packaging for the croissants and that was perfect.
  • Using half of the tube, roll out the triangle pieces and flatten them.
  • Brush on butter.
  • Place a dollar of Nutella in the center of the thickest part of the dough (do not spread).
  • Roll up like a croissant.
  • Place on cookie sheet and brush with butter, then sprinkle with a little sugar.
  • Bake for 12 minutes.

When these came out they were amazing! Remember you can make these ahead of time and warm up when ready to eat. I find adding caramel drizzle and vanilla ice cream to the Apple Pies is the best way to eat them. As for the Nutella, try sprinkling coconut or drizzling over peanut butter!
